To the Trinity Valley Shetland Sheepdog website. We hope you enjoy visiting us on the web and stay a while. Our club is made up of Sheltie lovers in North Central Texas in the Fort Worth region.

TVSSC was founded in 1958 as the Dallas Fort Worth Shetland Sheepdog Club, TVSSC was one of the first Sheltie Clubs in Texas and the first in North Texas. We began holding our first Specialty Show in 1959 and have continued them annualy throughout the intervening years. Our club colors are Red & White & Black. Many things have changed since the early days, but one thing remains constant: our love for this wonderful breed.

Our mission is to encourage members to accept and promote the Standard of the Shetland Sheepdog as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) as the one standard of excellence by which Shelties will be judged, and to educate the public about our breed.

We host competitions that showcase the Sheltie in all its beauty and versatility, and we also provide rescue services for Shelties in need.

Currently, we hold two yearly Specialty shows with conformation, obedience, and rally events. We also host agility trials, herding trials, fun days, and educational seminars.
